ETA’s first hiking only trail. The trail was built using volunteer power and a big day with the Elkford Secondary School completing ground work. The hike starts by branching off of the bottom of the Lost Lake trail 250m from the yellow gate at the bottom of the TMNT network and is the most direct path to the Vantage Point (the best view of Elkford and surrounding valley and mountains!). 

Boivin Cabin Loop – North

Four-season multi-use non-motorized trail constructed of existing trails, unused resource roads and old skid trials with some new sections of trail. The trail connects the Wapiti recreation area to the Boivin hut.

Blue Flow Mountain bike trail of just over 1.9Km. The trail will be ridden in a downhill direction only. The trail consists of over 50 features including dirt-built tabletops, berms, rollers and gaps that allow riders of the intermediate to advanced level, progress, as they grow with the line they choose. Each feature is rollable and in many cases the features have a range of difficulty.

Technical downhill with features and a touch of flow with a black difficulty rating. The trail will be ridden in a downhill direction only. The trail was built by a keen group of ETA volunteers and you will find special touches along the way including a elevated bridge, berms and drops. Heroes flows perfectly into the mid-point of Half Shell and creates 1.5km of technical downhill. A huge thank you to our volunteers for all of your contributions to this trail!

The ETA’s first volunteer hand-build trail opening up the Turtle power ridge for future downhill trail construction. This trail also offers a more technical downhill track from the bottom of Turtle Power to the trail head. First trail built by the ETA. Featuring a moderate climb or easy decent and a breath taking view of Elkford at the Vantage Point. Corners are bermed and the trail is flowy for fun in the summer and winter. 

Cowabunga!

Second section of the first trail built by the ETA. Cowabunga! features a boardwalk through a unique dense wet area of forest that some know as the “Turtle Layer”. The trail runs on the ridge beside Lost Lake and provides an excellent view of the area. The trail is flowy for fun in the summer and winter.
